We are all very sad at Drascombe Boats, to hear of the passing of John Watkinson’s widow, Kate. She lived in Noss Mayo with her son James, and was always interested in the comings and goings at Drascombe. Sharon was particularly close to her and they would often chat, at length, about the boats, their history, John’s legacy, and plans for the future. I had the pleasure of meeting her on occasions, when delivering parts to James for his Drascombe. Our thoughts are with James and the family.
